Plot Summary:Lincoln County, New Mexico. 1881. A young Mexican/Navajo girl. living as a servant in the house of Sheriff Pat Garrett, seems to have the ability to tell a person the exact day they will die. So outlaws and lawmen from all over the west come to Fort Sumner to have their fate \"read\" by this girl with her mysterious deck of poker cards. One of the outlaws, Billy The Kid, who'd had his cards read earlier in the year and then lit out for Mexico shortly after, decides to tempt his own fate. He returns to Fort Sumner on the exact date the girl had told him he would die to have another \"session\" with the cards. Billy is about to find out just how accurate the girl's predictions truly are.
