Plot Summary:The film switches back and forth between the adventures of Pu on a summer holiday in Norrland in Sweden and and the adult Pu visiting his father who lives in an old people's home. Little Pu spends a summer in Norrland in the 1920s with all his relatives. He and his brother get to hear the story about the watchmaker who hung himself, learns to shoot with a bow and follow his father on a bicycle trip.
英格玛伯格曼剧本撰写，其子导演的自传性电影，有很多之前经典作品的影子、比如野草莓、芬妮与亚历山大。摄影风格、神谕、死亡阴影等刻画也是一脉相承，整体比较平稳，因为今天电影看太多所以相对觉得没太多记忆点。
金马影展第11场。了解伯格曼应该看的一部影片，可以看到很多之后创作思想的雏形，可惜很多情节添加的过于刻意，明显是为了迎合主题，哥哥是否真有这样的丑化也有待商榷，电影本身很平庸。
