又一位纪录片大师的新作。相比起中性风的《波士顿市政厅》，这部由人物访谈为主体的作品显然生动有趣得多，全赖导演用五花八门的音效、字幕设计、配乐、档案记录片段嵌入到一问一答的形式里，令枯燥乏味感一扫而空。这个人物有点像法国新浪潮女星珍·茜宝，盲目爱上极度争议的男人而深陷政治漩涡，甚至招惹杀身之祸。主人公的经历实在匪夷所思，不过考虑到她的身份和地位，没有其他人更有底气来展示一部口述的回忆录，因为她的经历浓缩了整个迷幻七十年代。
