Plot Summary:Neil Diamond stars in this motion picture as Yussel Rabinovitch, a young Jewish cantor who strives to make a career outside the synagogue in popular music as Jess Robin. Against the wishes of his rigid father and his loving wife, Yussel travels from New York City to Los Angeles to play his music. Swept up by the excitement, he meets a spunky manager who believes in his talent and shares his dream. He grows apart from his family, and becomes confused about what he should ultimately do with his life.

没看过这版，但是看到短评清一色的说这个条目错了，还是忍不住想说一下。条目没错，《爵士歌手》除1927年版之外，曾被多次翻拍，比如1953年由名导迈克尔柯蒂斯就拍过一版。而这个条目，是1980年的翻拍版，并无错误。
明明1921年，却偏给人家写1980年上映！无语了！
