Plot Summary:'Happy Birthday Loki' tells the story of a 40-year-old housemaid who was abducted from her village in Orissa as a child and sold. Though her life is far from perfect, she does live a somewhat fulfilling one today. She eats more than a growing boy, prefers to use the stairs and is addicted to television. For someone with a horrifying past (she has also lost her ability to speak coherently) she is a symbol of courage and hope for everyone.
