Plot Summary:Agland's director's cut of 'Shanghai Vice' tells the true stories of some of the residents of Shanghai in 1997. It follows the murder of a school teacher; the interrogation, trial and execution of her murderer; it follows a 60-year old landlady looking for the perfect relationship; it follows a little boy with a crippling heart condition; it follows a 70-year old opera teacher tutoring his final student; it follows a pair of middle-aged friends trying to liven up their six lives; it show the private lives of Shanghaiese in a time of tumultuous change.
