这部很不错。此片把美国社会微妙的战后情绪表现得复杂细腻，比起隔靴搔痒的TBYOOL大胆得多。几位带着不同角度战争创伤的主要人物与后方对战争残酷一无所知（也拒绝了解）的亲友无法沟通，走出阴影更多是靠彼此抱团取暖，并非来自亲人和社会的帮助（实际上最后还黑了政府的复员军人安置），太不主旋律。
