When he sees the man kissing Yayoi, Shigeki goes crazy. He married a woman named Misaki even though he didn't love her. But the two has a son and are living happily. Just as Yayoi married and had a daughter. Even then, Shigeki kept watching Yayoi. As Shigeki turns 50, his eyes are weakened by using his eyes too much for all those years. His view is clouded and he can't even see through the telescope anymore. One day, he receives a box full of notebooks. They were the diaries that Yayoi had kept.
