Plot Summary:The likeable and carefree Grand Duke of Abacco is in dire straits. There is no money left to service the State's debt; the main creditor is looking forward to expropriating the entire Duchy. 默片时代的喜剧有时候搭配上刻意的表情管理还挺惊悚。
茂瑙回顾展。比较平庸
情节一般，修复还行
没有中文字幕、没有讨论、没有影评，连介绍都是外语。不懂英语（也不是完全不懂，代词与介词还是认识几个的😂、借助翻译工具硬啃了下来。为了观影过程不被割裂，采取的方法是先把字幕截屏、翻译、打印出来后再一气呵成连续观看。如果第一部茂瑙的电影就如此，我想我一定会放弃的。也幸亏是默片，否则我也没有信心啃😰
写这书的人看样子对资本家和劳动阶层相当的厌恶，甚至有很深的误解，当然如果他是站在贵族阶层的角度来看来写的话也就很正常了。。。阿弗莱德.阿贝尔的鼻子长的很喜感他把这个角色演的相当的灵活似乎是看过他的表演里最自在的一次。哈利.利特克扮演的公爵也不知道哪一面真的和“duke”有点像，真怪了之前也看过他很多部电影怎么就一点没觉得。。。
