Plot Summary:An ex- bounty hunter turned miner returns to his mine dig to find one of his partners dead, how brother has run away and the remaining partner is slightly simple and unclear as to what happened. warren is enlisted by a mysterious women to take her across the desert. The woman is strange and keeps changing her story about what she wants and why. On the journey they pick up a gunslinger the woman has hired. The party ends up tracking a rider who is ahead of them. Warren figures out that the trip is really to track down the rider. It's along hot trip across the desert with a purposeful woman,a homicidal gunslinger, the former bounty hunter and his simple sidekick and the unknown quarry.

要去理解这部无比诡异粗粝的西部电影，我们真正要对比的绝非是在评论里多次被提到的安东尼奥尼，而应当是TS艾略特的长诗杰作《荒原》。在这片荒芜的西部沙漠中，上演了艾略特笔下三个被现代主义摧毁的古代神话：圣杯、涅槃与繁衍，他们永远无法像亚瑟王的骑士一般抵达他们的目的地，《以西结[CENSOR]书》里复生的传说，在结尾男主角目睹实际上的他自己死去时破灭，而这个无法爱上亚当的夏娃，更进一步证明了在现代废土之上，繁衍的不可能性。

这不是传统牛仔片，是荒漠里的黑色电影。结尾牛逼。
