1. 第一次看到英国的“新浪潮”电影吧，完全从跑步的这个青年的意识出发，拍出来的电影。电影中的角色，没有人真正的去关心他，去跟他交流自己的想法。他在跑步中跟自己对话交流，完成了个人的自我成长，才有了最后不去冲线这种强烈的个人意识的表达。2. 这部作品基于DDL的推荐，男青年刚刚死了爸爸。
尽管在世界电影史上有不可磨灭的地位，但我还是觉得可以更好的。从一开始跑步就不该只是抒情的方式，而需要和末尾的比赛相对应。毕竟跑步不仅使Col变为了赛马变为了被体质利用的工具同时也是他与体制对抗的工具，光有最后的拒绝跑步时不够的。这片该被翻拍。

本片以意识流的手法探讨了年轻人的叛逆心理，主题深刻，但娱乐性不强，其主要演员均有出色的表现，是英国“自由电影”中极具代表性的佳作之一。
叛逆的厚积勃发
所谓的愤怒派代表作……剪辑很漂亮，别的没感想。
比赛部份的剪辑非常精彩，快速的剪辑贴切地描述了男主角的内心活动。其余部份并无太特别之处。此外我并不知道他用这种方式对抗有何意义，尤其是他其实一直表现的相当顺从，直至受到他好友入狱后的指责才"醒悟"过来?
