整体情节平稳，悬疑程度一般，几乎可以完全预估后续的故事发展，故而也就失去了惊喜，不过在众多俗套恐怖片中还是表现出了独特的风格，为打发时间看看还是不错的。女主狰狞的面孔增强了本片的惊悚度，以蝴蝶标本寓意挣脱不开的变态母爱，也能使人毛骨悚然，然而看到结尾处反倒有一种莫名心酸的感觉
