Plot Summary:Victor is a cook who works in a greasy bar/restaurant owned by his mother, Dolly. It's just the two of them, a waitress named Delores, and a heavy drinking regular, Leo. But things change when Callie, a beautiful college drop-out, shows up as a new waitress and steals Victor's heart. But Victor is too shy to do anything about it, and too self-consciously overweight to dream of winning Callie away from her demanding boyfriend, Jeff. Victor's terrible loneliness overwhelms him when he has to face losing what he loves the most.

其实还好，标准的美国电影不一样，更多的是一种实验意义。整部电影表现出一种迷离的气氛，剧情基本上都在一个小小的餐馆发生，通过简单的对话和蒙太奇推动剧情发展，还是做得相当不错的。 PS：男主角让我看到了自己一位亲人的影子，看得自己很伤感
