Plot Summary:Documentary about Fred Leuchter, an engineer who became an expert on execution devices and was later hired by revisionist historian Ernst Zundel to "prove" that there were no gas chambers at Auschwitz. Leuchter published a controversial report confirming Zundel's position, which ultimately ruined his own career. Most of the footage is of Leuchter, puttering around execution facilities or chipping away at the walls of Auschwitz, but Morris also interviews various historians, associates, and neighbors.

制造电椅大致相当于制作死神的镰刀，技术最终连贯了哲学与神性。他说，“一次给好几百人行刑是非常艰难的工作。我们给一人行刑都很困难，我觉得枪杀或吊死他们更简单。让我做出绞刑器然后一次绞死50个人也是简单的。我也许可以在更短时间内处死更多的人。比起这些（毒气室），子弹要便宜多了”。是我最近听过最迷幻的一段话了。
既然电椅死刑要考虑如何让罪犯舒适有尊严，做啥不直接安乐死呢。都不是圣人，谁也会犯错，不要那样执迷不悟与世界为敌。

友情提示吃饭时间误入，讨论死亡方式的部分或多或少会有点动物本能，除此之外，基本嚣张又快乐。东西方死亡观念确实有很大不同，关于刑罚也一样，对罪人其实不必要存仁慈心，但是看冷静而又平淡的探讨还是会有一点点的恐怖感，加上导演拉视角讲内容的汹涌，坦白有淡然，莫名的在纪录片的视角之上输入了情绪，体验多元。
