Mike thinks there's marital trouble as Susan avoids all contact with her friends, even the annual barbecue, after the pact of silence over Gaby's stepfather's corpse burial in the woods. Bree is confident she can use her affair with detective Chuck Vance as a warning system, but the victim's car causes urgent problems for her and Gaby, which only a godsend car-thief solves. Renee's confidence that new neighbor Ben Faulkner will fall for her like previous male preys proves utterly misplaced.
