Plot Summary:1960s. Arden is an introvert kid who was brought up in a strict Catholic orphanage. Insecure about his voice, he pretends to sing during choir practice. With the arrival of Mr. Stevens, the new music teacher, his farce is discovered and the duo starts to work together. As the boy becomes more confident with his singing, a friendship is formed. But a stern Mother Superior notices changes in Arden's behavior and, concerned with his attachment to the teacher, breaks them apart. Abandoned once more in his life, Arden will struggle to find his own voice.

镜头太没想象力了。看的时候感慨应该是青年导演。脑海中闪过无数种拍法，伯格曼会怎么拍、老塔会怎么拍……剧作也不好，灵魂黑夜软绵无力。看到跪豆子那里心中警铃大作，心说不会这又是个阳萎文学吧…结果果然导演是个gay……
彈了三個音就張開嘴唱，足見這個孩子的渴望有多深。 經歷老師的背棄後終於還是張嘴唱了起來，大概是孩子有了新的決定了吧。
故事很细腻，小演员演得也不错，不过整体的基调略微阴沉，略显平淡
