Plot Summary:The miller's son, following his vocation, escaped to the sea, but after several years he returned to his family and his childhood affair, Hanka, a young lady from the court. This, however, yielded to her parents, accidentally overhearing that her resistance would cause their financial ruin, intends to marry an old, wealthy geek.
