剧情的走向基本上都在观众的预料之中吧，沉迷赌博的女人终究要为这种不良嗜好付出代价，结尾算是比较手下留情了。。。看点其实就是斯坦威克的演技看她如何诠释这个一步步走向深渊的女人，这差不多是一个随处可见的中产女性并且有着深爱她的丈夫，这种角色定位旨在告述观众赌博是可以伤害任何一个人的。。。斯坦威克在影片的后半段发挥出了演技但是不知道为什么总觉得这个角色如果是黛德丽来演似乎更好一些。。。还有件事情挺有意思，片中所有的角色都异常清醒甚至那个怂恿她的赌场经理，唯独只有这个女人丧失理智。。。
