Plot Summary:In the shuttle business there's a white line that separates the driver from the commuter, chaos from order. 98% of the population admits to thinking very little about the life of a shuttle driver (statistic based on the opinion of the director). Across the White Line is an awe-inspiring journey that seeks to bring that percentage down to at least 10%. This film follows five colleagues as they deal with the stressful and demanding responsibilities of shuttle driving at a university and with their own complicated relationships. Driving the west campus route is Phrank, an obsessive compulsive Lego maniac, and Sandy, a wannabe meteorologist. Controlling the east campus route is Tanesha, a domineering entrepreneur, and Francisco, a multicultural hot head. At the helm is their boss, Dennis, who has the seemingly impossible task of trying to end a long standing east versus west campus rivalry. ATWL is sure to open your heart, cleanse your palette, and free your mind! Scientists, nurses and teachers have has their 15 minutes, now it is time to honor one of the most misunderstood and under-appreciated professions in American society . . . shuttle driving.
