当悬疑片看，剧情真的没办法深究，假设动机是要守住这片沼泽，不肯卖地，这个动机很难驱动一个人去绑架撕票；一个对土地深深眷念的人，拥有某种情怀，很难以杀人越货的方式去维护这种情怀，是情感冲突与法理冲突的错位，哪怕杀的人十恶不赦，这种冲突也不是直接冲突，无法构成驱动力。另外，作家人设仅仅是佐证这种情怀吗？以及，黑帮分子存钱去摩洛哥养老，“黑寡妇”对小弟的一番感人肺腑的陈词，我们都可以从人性的复杂层面上认为立体的人物是动人的，可对剧情有什么用，国务卿女士、被绑架的经济学教授，他们的身份到底派上了什么用场，个个面目模糊，徒劳地请了一些演员走场。总之，人物的出现与消失跟剧情逻辑、情感逻辑一点关系也没有，这个悬疑片基本就崩了。当文艺片看的话，鳝鱼与芦苇理论倒可以深挖，可又缺乏文艺片的情感逻辑，也糊了。
