Somewhere in Myanmar is a forest rich in amber and controlled by the Kachin Independence Army (KIA). Most of its inhabitants work in a mine, digging the earth night and days in the hope of finding the precious ore that will get them out of poverty. 太淡了，也太笨了
导演拍摄是有苦劳的，但是有限的信息量、和拍摄对象的距离感以及情节的平淡让这部片子很难撑起来90分钟，能做10分钟的短片就不错了。

很平静的看完，没有一丝波澜起伏的情绪，因为我本就是从这种生活和感觉中过来的，而满目疮痍的世界里，这是无数凡人每天的生活。这个行业是靠权贵对血琥珀的青睐发展起来的，如果不再值钱，也就一无是处。
看完已哭倒。因为是“家乡”的人和事。导演的素材量不够，拍摄难度很大，德乃现在由政府军控制，任何拍摄设备也都进不去了。我这么小清新的人，可能会给影片起名叫《小梦想》。
根本没有叙事线条，每个人物都面目模糊。虽然不要求纪录片有意义，但纪录片也要讲故事啊。这点远输于赵德胤的《翡翠之城》。我欣赏导演没有先入为主的批判或怜悯的视角，但全程采用了我很不喜欢的访谈式，一直到结尾也没有出现任何有力量的段落。拍矿工走路的长镜头令人难以忍受（尽管中部配乐介入）。
C＋ / #TIDF# 脚踏实地的真实感太可贵了。无批判之批判，无剖析之剖析，无技巧之技巧。那个穿山越岭的长镜头真是把观众都装进了蓊郁深林的绝望之中。恐怖的或许不是深陷矿洞中的当下，更是那个梦想中依然为矿洞所捆绑的未来。米花之味的另一面。
