Plot Summary:A middle-aged couple from Scotland is currently residing in a man-made cave inside the vastness of the forest, somewhere in France. After the loss of their son, the mother deeply traumatised, renouncing every ounce of her human nature, enclosed herself in this cavity in the hope of escaping the dark hole of depression. Matters gradually deteriorate as she becomes unwilling or even unable just to be on her feet, reduced to a humanlike feral animal. Defeated and hopeless, the father makes his last stand and tries to salvage the remains of their shattered life, but is there any hope left?

隐喻实在太简单，悬念揭开后几乎就丧失了全部吸引力，而且两对夫妇的戏份厚此薄彼，Loss和Guilt两方之间缺乏本应有的冲突。林中风景和泛滥的配乐视听错位弱化了感官体验。

只有我這樣的神經病才會迷戀同樣神經病的電影嗎？Kate Dickie太迷人了，Corrine Masiero也很搶鏡。劇情雖然有點扯，但張弛有度，展開也很棒，畢竟它就是這樣一部神叨叨的電影啊。
